Observe.Think.Touch Nature

About

Welcome to Bin’s science blog. I’m a graduate student in Marty Kreitman’s lab, Department of Ecology and Evolution at The University of Chicago. My research interest lies in understanding natural variation and the type of evolutionary forces that shape the pattern of it. My thesis work focuses on how enhancers, a class of DNA regulatory elements, evolve. Cis-regulatory variations have been suggested to underlie speciation process and is speculated to be the defining character of a human from Chimp.
